Argentina one nil down after 28 minutes. Paraguay have also had two shots hit the bar. No real shots on target yet for Argentina.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
A really exciting end to the play-off between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia took the lead in injury time, then Bahrain scored a few minutes later to go through on away goals. So Bahrain will meet New Zealand for a place in South Africa.
Just look at the reaction of the Saudi players when Bahrain equalise:

Really enjoyed watching that. You couldn't script it!! I think the commentator was a tad tired at the end.

You never tire of being wrong do you? What are you basing your judgement on this time, facts or what you read in The Sun, there was no set punishment and that was proved in court at least twice.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
I do feel sorry for the women. If it were the men's team, we'd be going crazy. As its the women's team, noone really cares. Also, noone turns up to watch them. Here's a pic from the Euro semi-final between England and Holland:
Good luck ladies, do the country proud.

The captain is even playing with a special mask after dislocating a bone in her cheek.. A bloke with the same injury would be flying home by now

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Aaron Lennon deserved that award, he is like a rocket and covers every inch of that turf to supply players like Gerrard and Lampard, He is worth 100 million in todays market, he doesn't get the credit he fully deserves, if he was ever to leave Spurs, there would be uproar in North London.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
IF Spurs put Lennon in the market, l could gurrantee that is what Spurs would ask for, you never know this time next year, l gurrantee a transfer fee of that calibre will be asked for.
