Upgrading online
Is there a problem with upgrading on-line?
I tried to upgrade from 150k back to 1Mb, first time around it said it was successful and my SACM would be rebooted, nothing happened, so I tried twice more and now I'm getting page cannot be displayed errors after clicking on Upgrade Now.

Re: Upgrading online
Have you tried a manual reboot?
Power off PC & modem, power up modem, wait for steady lights, power up PC.

Re: Upgrading online
Already done that, when it failed the first time, my answer "Nope" meant that it didn't work.

Re: Upgrading online
Been off the phone with CS nearly 1 hour ago, their system still showed that I was 150k, so they upgraded me to 1Mb and they confirmed that it had gone through and the upgrade should happen within 15 mins.
Nothing has happened, download speeds still very low.
Would my firewall prevent them sending the config file for the modem?

No the config file only goes to the cable modem, your firewall will be between the modem and PC applications.
Power cycling the modem forces it to reload the config file so should pick up whatever speed you are registered for.
