TV Anywhere help please

Hi - I've not used this service before but as I'm away cat sitting seemed a good time to try it.

Every time I Put my details in when it asks me I get a screen saying 'Oops ...Something went wrong' unknown error occurred.

Is there a general problem or am I doing something wrong?

Re: TV Anywhere help please

Yes that's your problem as the main account holder has to authorise you by logging into their account. Sounds like a long tortuous conversation with VM. Best of luck

Re: TV Anywhere help please

It shouldn't be too difficult. You will have a separate email address for the 'main account holder'. Customer Services can tell you what this is. Tell them also that you don't know the password for that account.

I have NO idea what that separate email was as it was 16years ago. Also as I'm not at home with my virgin phone will have yo look for an external telephone number.

I think the user names of the prime user were changed more recently than that. You will need to phone customer services to find out what yours is.

Re: TV Anywhere help please

You could try phoning 0800 561 0061 this will get you to a menu and should be able to talk to someone. This should work on any phone service.

Re: TV Anywhere help please

That's strange as calling 0800 numbers is supposed to be free from mobiles. Perhaps you have a strange provider?
