I use speedfan also and find it decent, when switching to a new case did you make sure the cables are tucked away nicely for decent airflow? If your building a more demanding rig you may want to install another fan too

Re: Motherboard temp

You could pick up another fan for a couple of pounds. There will either be somewhere on your motherboard for fans or use a spare power connector off the PSU.

Also, try to make sure you don't have anything obstructing airflow, cables, etc.

I use cpucool. It works fine unregistered. If you like it, the registration is quite cheap. Not exactly sure how much, I'm still using an old iteration of it, in those days it cost $13.

Right ive bolted another 12cm fan on the front of the case, and the motherboard temp according to speedfan is currently 30c, which is alot better. Thanks for the help everyone.
