That should be all the information i need, but it hurt my eyes reading the pale white on the black chips, the writing was so small.

Found one, the only one available in 256Mb with Hynix 5 RAM.
I downloaded the modified one, and the original one. Then i think i may go with the softmodded drivers, or maybe Omega or DNA drivers, anyone have any reccomendations?

like i said earlyer
go to that url and get this one
http://www.techpowerup.com/bios/Sapp...x50_050111.bin
or better , goto the page and click the advanced link and change your bits to download a modded version.
......
did it work?
LOL, just realised , that link even gives you the option to download a boot floppy or even a cd boot image
so even better for you, its always good to know how to make one yourself though so perhaps someone will benifit from my time posting.

Re: Help me find my video BIOS!
I'm waiting til i'm alot more with it to mess with this, i need an action plan.
I'm thinking, disable AGP in the BIOS (if i can) and boot using the onboard graphics to remove all instances of the ATI software and drivers (I need some app's to help with thi,s driver cleaner is one, there's another one i used to use as well, any suggestions?) then i'd re-enable AGP, boot from it using the bootable flashing CD and then proceed itno windows where i can install the drivers and software, possibley even soft-modded Catalysts?
I need ideas here really, you think my plan will work?

Re: Help me find my video BIOS!
sounds like a plan, i dont know why you would mess about with disableing agp or just pulling the card though, any upto date reg cleaner will be good enough, use several in cycles to be sure, but if your machines registry is that full of junk, then its time to spend 15 minutes (or less) reinstalling that 'drive image pro' sister to 'partition magic' backup you made last time you collected up and installed your fave tools/apps etc.
you DID make a drive image pro (or some other lacking tool LOL,to make a) backup to save the install from scratch didnt you

Re: Help me find my video BIOS!
strange, i edited my post earlyer as i ment to say 'Drive Image Pro' and not its sister app 'Partition Magic' ,
PM is great for re-partioning your boot drives etc without loosing your data usually, unless you do somthing wrong, like kill the app before its finished compleatly.
get a copy of DIP & PM, its well werth it, and saves vast amounts of time in this day of 120+gig drives.

Re: Help me find my video BIOS!
Got this done yesterday, finally. Took me long enough.
Just used stock BIOS with 256Mb and Hynix 5's for RAM... Worksa treat on softmodded drivers upto 488/450
