your looks like an analogue card, not a DVB card ?, is it.

edit:
i could never work out how to attach a pic and have it upload off my drive, so finally got around to
re-using the ntl space LOL. even if it cant run rebol cgi, bummer.
yes, it's an analogue card

- attaching the pic is done by 'manage attachments' in the 'advanced' reply dialogue (which is usually default for a quoted post, but not a quick reply)

- you supply the path/s for the upload/s & click upload, then when done close that window & submit the post, as usual - it should load with the thumbnails

Re: Dvb T Freevieww Pc Stick Heeeeelp Please

right, that confirms that your BDA drivers ARE installed and seem to be using the currect CD versions, its not conclusive as you didnt click one or all of the BDA *sys to say the version no. but its good enouth.

SO the problem must be the TV app, i take it the 'DVBT Plus' app is the tv app?.

what does that 'Emmon' do?, i assume its for monitoring BDA streams or something, anyway, to continue.

are you plugging in a known good house tv arial into the card so as to be sure its getting the full strengh digital signal ?.

we might need to find another BDA tv app to install and see if you can then tune the channels in etc, iv found an MS related fix in my travels for linux DVB info, but i dont think its related to your problem so we will leave that out for now.
(funny how i said that in the beginning LOL)

popper i hope thats not a special brew
LOL. no just coffee, so did you try the 'DVBT Plus' app ? what does it do?, tell me ........... crash, trys to start the tv but ?....

---------- Post added at 23:34 ---------- Previous post was at 23:30 ----------

im really not sure if these files are the CD versions or not, i could go into detail as to why but i wont yet.......

im trying to find an easy winamp BDA tv plugin as winamp works on just about everything , even if i hate its look and the way it doesnt seem to diplay the tv in proper spec, but its an easy install and will at least tell us if the current suspect/or not drivers are at least working with a 3rd party BDA tv app.

brb

ps and of course i typed HL were i should have typed HA ,bloody kids and their PC games LOL.

---------- Post added at 23:49 ---------- Previous post was at 23:34 ----------

right go here and get the free winamp
http://www.winamp.com/player/
install it but dont reset when it asks yet.

go here and get the in_tv_1.9beta13.exe 355.48 KB
http://www.tv-plugin.com/index.php?id=4,0,0,1,0,0

install it.

and here
http://www.tv-plugin.com/index.php?id=7,0,0,1,0,0
and get http://www.tv-plugin.com/download.php?id=515,33,1
uk tv file.

now restart the pc.

start winamp, click options, preferences, plugins, input, double click winamp tv,channels, scan transponder list, and point it to that uk tv file you also downloaded.

after you have installed that, you should see several entrys for the DVB tv channels, just click the set as playlist and you SHOULD be set to click and change channels etc, is that easy enough to follow?, im hopeing that it should work and you now have DVB tv?.

i thought that was clear enough, no?.
your loading that UK.tpl with its channel tuning stuff in it...

AND YOU STILL havent told me what that 'DVBT Plus' DOES/IS....

RIGHT, forget that one for now, and just try this one
http://www.digtv.no-ip.com/webscheduler/

its not a tv app as such (on its own) with a built-in display etc,but i use it all the time
to stream to lots of networked machines here ,and record tv for later.

grab that, install it, go to the url
http://localhost:8429/settings.html
setup the card by clicking the 'device setup' then the channels
by "you will figure it out!"....

if the drivers are working as per last night, you will see several tv channels, pick one and try an set a small test record going to your biggest drive (i have 40gig of tv right now), oi cant walk you through it as im recording first wave right now and the web app doesnt like it when its asked to do other stuff.

IF you get that far, then use VLC or MPC to playback the saved .ts..
DID IT WORK!
