Re: MTU setting

That I can't answer because that I did not set.

will let you know if I find out.

It looks like it may be automatic when you increase RWIN to over 65535

---------- Post added at 12:10 ---------- Previous post was at 12:07 ----------

Right then here we go again, i have used your settings and have set MTU in DR TCP to 1500 same as router, i will run tweak test now and post results.

X your figners...

---------- Post added at 12:27 ---------- Previous post was at 12:10 ----------

Are the values in BOLD on the tweak test results page the recommended values that i need to enter into DR tcp ???.

Anyone!!!.

---------- Post added at 13:14 ---------- Previous post was at 12:27 ----------

Ok swoop you Da man thanks for all yr help i think we might have done at last, had to set Rwin to 96360 but it looks ok on the tweak test with the exception of the 2+ second stall detected which looks like that is due to congestion on the network "EVERYBODY GET OFF MY NETWORK" lmAO.

Now the real test to join TS and se how long it takes for me to start going mad again because of vioce breakup and i die a few more times..

Again thanks all for your help especially SWOOP Da man...

will run tweak test in an hour just to see if it was a fluke, ill post...

Thanks again
HAZZ.....

No, they are the actual values in use detected by the Tweak test. They are not recommendations.

Re: MTU setting

your signal level is sh*t at -12! read the sticky about signal levels.

you can get little devices that go in-line on the coax cable to bring this nearer to 0

It can still work perfectly well at -12 according to bbking. Mines been -11 and its now -9 and ive never had any problems with speed or drop outs.
