You see the two holes, where the wrist strap connects to .... well, if you fold your starter cord in half and feed the looped end into the top hole, and then thread the two loose ends through the loop, the cord is attached to the powerball and can't get lost ....

In terms of Powerball as a 'Toy', I asked myself the same question when I found myself in Hamley's last week surrounded by at least 100 kiddies from the minute the store opened to the minute it closed (my god, what a busy place that is during half term!) - in truth, Powerball isn't really a 'Toy' (anyone who has experienced the torture it inflicts on the wrist/arms will testify to this) but that high score feature (as you can even see in this thread) is wildly addictive and manages to blur the line between fitness and fun sufficiently to put it into the fun/games category of such sales channels without too much dispute..

By the way, have a little peep at the following "mini scoreboard" we set up for our friends at the Flexifoil kite flying forum:

As you can see, this is the type of scoring that you boys should be aiming to achieve (the official Top100 scoreboard is outside of most peoples reach these days so don't feel too bad if you can't quite make that!)

Anything less than 11k for a fully grown male is fairly miserable (!) and it will annoy you even more when you hear that a very slender wristed young Spanish girl called Mj (she is about 18, as thin as a whip and with slim arms) is presently on 11783rpm and headed for our first female 12k score submission...we'll have some fun when that happens and will make sure the video is on site to help make any potential slagging of limp wristed males even easier! :-)

Don't you just hate people who know it all

It's all down to a reduced amount of synovium in the space between the tendon sheath and the stringy tendon itself. This leads to friction and consequently inflammation. Oh and pain There's not much you can do, since over time thickening of the tendon wall occurs which leads to more friction. Just one of those of things I'm hoping that science will provide Terminator-style replacements, in a sad but cool way

Decrease the inflammation with regular icing..........

With regards to grip strength...yes - if you hold the ball in your finger tips as opposed to planting it right into the palm, it will give your fingers a serious workout in a very short time as they fight to hold onto it.

In addition, burying it into the palm and spinning at high speeds, sustained for 30 second bursts, will build crushing power in the hand itself (the ball will do its best to wriggle out of your hand no matter how hard you try to hold onto it) - both exercises will raise the eyebrows in people that you shake hands with...R

I've gone for Neon Pro - Neon because I like the colour, and Pro for the meter on top. I picked green.

Has anybody managed to get the Power Ball videos (here) to work in any other version than the Apple Quicktime one? All of the links (even the Mpeg and Avi ones) keep telling me that I need to install Quicktime to be able to view them.

Have I naused up somewhere?
