I've connected to the IP address (using Filezilla) that I was given in my email and uploaded a file called index.htm to the root directory.
When I browse to the address on the server I can't see my index page, all I get is the standard I-Web page.
Any ideas?
To be honest, there are a whole load of folders in the root directory and I can't work out what is what. I can't even see an index page that controls the I-web page that is up there.
Before a MOD comes along, you need to upload your files into the www directory..... there is a file in there called index.php, just delete it

ahhhh..... I take it that it will go to .php by default even when a .htm file exists?

Fantastico, sorted.
I take it that when the domain is finally all set up and pointing to the right place, I will only have the www folder and that anything in there will get transferred?
