Actually it’s easier to fail than you think… especially on the hazard perception bit. It’s generally (or was) people who have already passed their car license and are going for their motorbike license see the hazard earlier and subsequently click too early and therefore fail. The advice I was given was when you see the hazard wait one second and then click.

Mind it’s been some years since I did my theory for my bike test so it’s probably all changed since then. I was also ridiculously hungover and sleep deprived after flying back from Singapore and going straight to the assessment centre

When I was using the official DVD to prepare for my bike theory in 2000 after 25 years of driving cars and a few months commuting on a 125, I consistently over-stated the hazards. Still passed it, though.
