This is a very interesting read and simple investigation.
It gives a time traveler an easy way to show their presence..
http://arxiv.org/ftp/arxiv/papers/1312/1312.7128.pdf
I dont think any would admit it though do you?

In theory we can time travel forwards (and possibly backwards using worm holes), so it wouldn't surprise me if it was worked out how to do it in the future.
I used to say that they either didn't subsequently figure it out of it was decided not to do it for obvious reasons because we don't see or hear about people visiting our timeline from a different time period.
However, maybe some instances where people claim to have seen aliens or spirits could be such people??
It could also simply be that those who do time travel are told not to disclose themselves so that problems don't arise as a result of this new found (to us) capability.

From a social standpoint, the way we perceive and organize time is indeed a social construct. Different cultures have developed various calendars, timekeeping systems, and societal norms around time management. For example, the division of the day into hours and minutes, the concept of weekends, and the significance of punctuality can vary widely across cultures.
