Re: End of Contract- what deals are being offered?

I recently signed in to my son's account, with his permission to help change his direct debit. On his My VirginMedia page was a message saying it's time to renew your contract. He isn't out of contract until January.
Has anyone else got this message?

Contract mentions 360 which I don't have and Netflix appears to be omitted but I'm still happy and don't have to do the back and forth.
Contract was meant to update on 17th October but my old contract and package is still showing on my virgin media. I'll give it a few days.
How are you on the top package for such a low price?

Got money off new customer price to value of an Xbox. Then whenever I got a price rise letter I rang up to say I didn’t want to pay the price rise. My bill was credited and the price itself never went up. Even when there was that big rise of over £20 for top package back in march I think it was. I got a bill credit and no increase in the end.
Been advised to today my recontracting offer won’t be honoured. Not surprised really.

Phoned them today it was hard work , yes there is a problem. Surprise, surprise. Then asked if I was happy with the price I pay, naa, ok so I will look at it ..... Mega pack, double my bb speed ,sky movies, sky sports , Netflix. For a £1 a month more !!!! . As I don't want \ need any of these things I said no wonder what the catch would have been,.
