Look on the bright side - Salmond GONE, Robertson GONE, Sturgeon looking even more silly than May having lost a third of her 'pro independence' seats.

Then of course there was the icing on top of the cake news of Clegg, GONE.

Looks like his pro-remain stance wasn't quite as popular as he liked to portray.

The way some folks are talking anyone would think Corbyn's Labour had won when in reality they haven't despite being the big beneficiaries of a poor campaign by May and her team.

Sturgeon is just as slimy and obnoxious as her predecessor and after last night it will go even more downhill for her in the future.

Well if they agreed on everything, there would be no point in them existing would there. Hardly earth shattering points.

It's all relative though. He wasn't defending as many seats, he saw a better gain in both seats and votes whereas Brown lost it.

But more than anything it's two fingers up at everyone who said he would get destroyed.

I'm just waiting for Liverpool to send their letter to the Premier League contesting the outcome of Chelsea winning the title because Liverpool did better than expected.

Not a fan of him but he communicated his message far more with the public then May who was wooden and wanted to avoid the public generally all the time thinking all she had to do was to repeat our robotic slogans and messages all the time.

This is an article from today's Telegraph. I thought it was interesting what the conservative media think of the DUP.

Labour drove a hard campaign. They had activists outside schools etc handing out leaflets about education cuts.

That said, it's leader, was still a catalyst to not running home. Had this been Andy Burnham. Yvette cooper, Labour would have romped home.
