Re: Area 20 WA5 Postcode 150Mb BB that runs at 10Mb to 50Mb

I discovered this last week, I'm on 160 and last wed night I was getting 2.5mbits. To say I was shocked is an understatement. Rang them up and after 30 mins on the phone discovered that we had a "utilisation issue" that won't be resolved till the end of May.

Anyway, the reason I've posted is just to say after some hard complaining I've got £75 credit, so far. 6 months with a degraded service also gives you the right to cancel your contract with them. And I'll be ringing them every month to get more compensation.

What really annoys me is, everybody in wa5 20 must be having issues why haven't they sent a letter to customers advising they may have some speed issues. No, they would rather pay off the people that do notice, rather than tell there customers the truth. Truly Shocking.

Same for me, was upgraded from 150-200mbps and SH1 to SH2, then all of a sudden speeds drop by half. Told fault in the area. A review to be conducted at the end of April

Phoned yesterday and got the same answer, no fix until may. I've got £37.50 back to account until February, guess I'll ring them again then for more money back.

The girl asked if I was getting it at just peak times, told her it was pretty much constant. She then said something along the lines of:

"Okay, let just look at the....oh....oh yeah, that is quite bad...."

Oh well.

I've never seen my 200mbit, not even at 4am.
