Area 20 WA5 Postcode 150Mb BB that runs at 10Mb to 50Mb

Hi all,

Can anyone shed any light on the capacity fault thats hitting WA5 Area 20 ?

Just heard today from the faults team its been pushed back to MAY.

As usual the call centre is about as much use as chocolate teapot. What is really annoying is when VM keep promoting 200Mb in this area.

ANy thoughts...

Double standards do my head in so if I was you I would be writing a letter to the CEOs office and asking them why they are advertising increased speed and putting additional pressure on a network which they already know cannot handle it. After all, they are only going to cause themselves more hassle as any new customers signing up are going to be ringing up when they get 20mbits instead of 200 thinking that there is a fault.

I'm in the exact same area as you. My performance isn't quite as bad as yours, but I've yet to see the 200Mbit that I actually have.

What I find frustrating is that there must have been a node split or something a couple of weeks ago as I lost Downstream channels and got an IP change. Still feeling the congestion :(

I am still not getting them and I have checked the option in the user control panel, everything is selected and remains unchanged. Can you send me a pm so I can see if I get an email notification for it please.

thanks dude, that didn't work either, seriously annoying and really weird. Is anyone else using Hotmail and still able to get notification emails?

Nobody's replied, so maybe? :P

This happened before to me, except it was a gmail problem. Entirely possible the same thing is happening to hotmail accounts. Post about it here? http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/27/

It is very bad in the WA4 area, average of 8 to 10meg at a night out of my 150 meg connection. Game play is ruined.

Did they cancel the node splits, has the capacity already been used, or is there nothing to connect the split nodes to just yet?
