Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
If I said I got the XB1 for Halo and PGR (though not sure if and when this might happen) then could you not see it that I got the XB1 for those (type of also exclusive) games, even though they ain't out right now. Seems straight forward and obvious to me. Seems more lost in translation than anything else.
I'm just saying how I read that, that's all.
Edit
It looks as if PGR ain't going to happen, well that's makes the XB1 crap then. lol. I don't like Forza (too easy), so I might have to wait till Gran Turismo 7 comes out for the PS4 before I decide. Gutted.

Thanks for the reply
That wouldn't really be equivalent to what Bogof said, though.
For your example to truly be equivalent, the following would be required in addition to you saying that you got an Xbox One for Halo and PGR:
- PGR would have to be available *now*, for Xbox One *and* PC.
- You would have had to have previously told us all, before you bought the Xbox One, that you thought that PGR was "crap".
And to top it off, it would also need for you to have told us that you only buy consoles for exclusives because of having a £3300 PC, yet to also have told us a list of games you had for the Xbox One that were not exclusive, games you even "double-dipped" on for Xbox One *and* PS4 and could also have got for your £3300 PC (a PC on which they would blatantly perform better).
Or, as you say you don't like Forza, a better example would be to say you bought an Xbox One for Halo (not out) and Forza (don't like).
The main issue with the "Halo & Titanfall" claim was not that Halo is not out yet, but that the only other game he said he specifically got it for (before it became an "impulse buy" for the reason of "because") was Titanfall:
1) A game that is also available on PC and is therefore not exclusive.
2) A game that would therefore have been a far better purchase for his £3300 PC instead of buying the technically inferior version for the technically inferior platform, an especially strange decision given the importance he places on graphical performance.
3) A game that he previously said, before he bought the Xbox One, is "crap" (amongst other things...).
"Halo & [a true exclusive currently out that he does not dislike]" would have made sense for Bogof to have said, IMO. One current exclusive, one future exclusive. Just like e.g. getting a PS4 now for inFamous (current) and Uncharted (future) would make far more sense than getting one now just for Uncharted (future) or just for Uncharted and TLOU (both future), or getting one now for Uncharted (future) plus [something disliked].

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
Just had an afternoon on my xbox one. It really has a lot of problems.
Titanfall has horrific frame rate drops an screen tearing. The dashboard is a nonsense mess. The friendlist features don't work. COD-ghosts has frame rate drops.
So if anyone here is looking to go nextgen, I would advise PS4, for your console gaming. An what set up you enjoy for your PC gaming.
I cannot imagine how ripped of I would if I had paid £429 for this mess. I just cannot believe the PS4 is so much better. Microsoft have really dropped the ball here. Especially as the Ps4 is 50% more powerful.
I'm excited to see what comes from the PS4 in the coming years. Still looking forwArd to the rumoured halo 2 remake though. On xbox..
1-(I'm)...really looking (forward) to 2- Matts nice "long" reply. 3-that why I (had.....
) to come back to "this" thread

Again that's your OPINION, and you are entitled to it, however, someone else might think differently. I however can't see anything wrong with it personally

Personally I don't even think its actually his opinion. It just sounds like a copy and paste of pieces from news stories he read online about the console and games that have issues.
I also don't think early adopters of the One feel ripped off at all. Any early adopter of technology knows there will be problems and issues, its always been the same with games consoles and other technology. I remember my PS2 bought on launch day was replaced by Sony 3 times in the first 8 months as I kept getting hardware faults.

What? What's this? You're acknowledging I'm voicing an opinion and nothing more?
You sure you don't need to reply with 29 paragraph essay about the total cost of every electrical device I have ever bought an full reasoning as to why I bought it?
Then reject those reasons and type the EXACT same 29 paragraph essay again with a few extra "" () 12 ......... For effect?

No I don't need to justify anything to you, but it will ask you this as others have, WHY did you buy an Xbox One, if you think it's rubbish? Answer me that please

So you now don't believe I see frame drops or screen tearing whilst playing titanfall? Even though it is widely publicised the game suffers from these?
Do you think I have a special copy of every game that runs much better than everyone else's ?
An any clown that paid £429 for this thing should feel robbed, you can get it for £349 with 2 games less than 6 months after release. That's effectively a £130 price drop.

I don't feel ripped off at all, I'm glad I bought the console at launch, although it didn't last long as it made a terrible grinding noise, Microsoft replaced it and sent me a new unit within two days. I haven't had any problems since, touch wood

You've told us all this before - why don't you take your own advice and stick to your PS4 or £3300 PC for your gaming?

Hey, I did keep saying I acknowledged your opinion and was not challenging that - what I was repeatedly asking you to do was answer the simple questions I had about your contradictory posts

Other than being an impulse I didn't realise just how bad it was before I bought it. An I have always formed my own hands on opinion of any device I buy.
I have an iPhone , I read online they are awful but I bought one and it's great. I like to form my own opinion.

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
I'm sort of glad that neither the xbox one OR the PS4 do what I want just yet. So I believe I'll stick with my PS3 and my PC for now.

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
Know what I dislike more than people who rant and rave about something they hate? People who rant and rave about other people's opinions. It's just an opinion for goodness sake.
Maybe the (very large and popular) Moans and Pet Hates thread should be erased if the Opinion Police are out in such force.
IMHO.

Just from they words you typed and way you put it, it sounds exactly the way it was reported on many gaming sites.
Also you would have if you had bought it for your ££££ PC
Thats rather out of order, if I had the money and been able to buy one already I wouldn't feel ripped off at all. I would have a games console I really wanted and been able to play the games I want to. I paid £425 for my PS3. Should I feel robbed that 6 months after I bought it you could actually get the console with 2 games and a second controller for the exact same price? No because I got the console early and thats always been what happens.
Also I paid a lot of money for my TV but 8 months later it was almost 50% cheaper. Again I don't feel ripped off.
