The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
So I have an xboxone and its crap. Tittanfall is just anoher FPS but with less depth and A LOT OF SCREEN TEARING. COD-Ghosts is on PS4 is 1080p and sometimes exceeds 60fps.
COD-Ghosts is 720p on Xbox one. I have tomb raider on both consoles and Mtel gear solid GZ on both consoles. An they both perform amazing on PS4 and nothing special on Xbox one. Oh, if you want to checkout wether or not I own an Xbox-one add me "Ooh im good". If you have yet to buy a console BUY A PLAYSTATION 4!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
So basically you buy games for the graphics? Opinion voided.

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
I have to say, I can't tell the difference between 720p or 1080p to be honest. It all looks the same to me

This thread doesn't need to do anything, except remain civil and on topic. ;)

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
Graphics are important if they werent we would all still be playing PS2, Or no one would update there PC graphics card.
I own a XBOX-ONE and its under powered, I was a big fan of xbox, from the original xbox to the xbox360, but Xbox one is not upto par! |

I have a BBC micro and a VIC20 lol, but I also have a very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013. I buy consles for the exclusives that will not appear on PC. An Minecraft is not about graphics, but would you play call of duty if it had Minecraft gaphics? |

Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
play-ability and interesting concept comes before graphics imo
I used to be a really good FPS multiplayer but now I hate them because of the perk system in all of them . Console gaming has killed good skilled gaming as far as I am concerned |
Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
Great graphics alone do not a good game make ;)
Most people can't tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. Especially if the textures are really high in detail. So whether they end up setting the game to 900p or something just to get 60fps then there is not really a problem. As for being underpowered thats just nonsense. Its just a new console and they just need to fully explore ways to get the most out of the system. |
Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
It is under powered fact. An don't tell me about texture tiling an direct x 12 (assuming you understand those) it's 2015 before we see the results of those in games.
Xboxone was designed to be constantly connected to the net with kinect always on. When that idea fell flat with gamers Microsft had to rejig the system but never had the time. XBOXONE IS A HORRID MESS! Yes the ESRAM may come into its own with tiling. But by then PS4 will be lead platform for everything so developers will never bother to use it to its full potential. For those who don't understand- google TILED RESOURCES. |

Also thats your opinion and doesn't in any make it a fact. Look at every other generation of console when they launched and then look at the games released after a couple of years, developers need to get to grips with the systems to be able to fully utilise the power at their disposal. Developers will already be working with DX12 and working on making the games look a lot more amazing for next year and beyond. Launch window games never are amazing. |
Re: The Xbox-one is pile of "bleep" thread.
I think you'd have more fun on NeoGAF than CF, OP, it's much more suited to trolling.
---------- Post added at 02:13 ---------- Previous post was at 01:52 ---------- OK, fine, I'll bite. Yes, it is underpowered compared to the PS4. This has been apparent since they both launched back in November, given the variety of games that have been released at and after launch that render at 1080p on the PS4 and less than 1080p on the Xbox One (COD Ghosts, BF4, Assassin's Creed IV...) along with exclusives such as Titanfall and Ryse rendering at less than 1080p (792p and 900p, respectively) and the recent Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition rendering at 1080p but only having a frame rate of 30fps compared to the PS4 version's 60fps. But, so what? If a game is *fun* and you *enjoy* it, does it really matter if it is only 720p or 900p instead of 1080p? I have far more fun with Titanfall than COD, despite the odd bit of screen-tearing. COD Ghosts is an abomination, whatever system you play it on. I loved every bit of Tomb Raider despite it only being 30fps. It still played brilliantly, and it did actually look gorgeous. *You* obviously care, and that is fair enough. But I don't, and neither do many others here or elsewhere. I do find it strange, though, that you continue to buy games though for a console you appear to hate so very very much, especially given your extreme obsession with graphical performance and your knowledge of the PS4's superior power. Why buy Tomb Raider for both? Why buy the very recent MGS for both? Why buy COD Ghosts? [... for any system! ;) ] etc. Actually, given that you have a "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013" and only buy consoles "for the exclusives that will not appear on PC", why buy any of those games except for MGS? Tomb Raider, COD Ghosts, and Titanfall are all available for Windows PC, and would all perform far better on your "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013" than on an Xbox One or even a PS4. I can't actually think of any truly Xbox One exclusive games (as in, not on PC too) apart from Ryse and Forza 5, so why have you been wasting your money on others that you could get on PC and have also got on PS4? Do you regret your choice so much that you must rant and rave about it to others? What drove you to create this thread? If you really hate your Xbox One that much, I think you would be better off selling it, instead of continuing to buy games for it that you have also bought for the PS4 and which would actually be better on your "very very powerful PC that cost £3300 to build in december 2013". But still, have fun with whatever you do. I shall continue to enjoy playing on my "pile of bleep" Xbox One, and will get a PS4 once Naughty Dog release something :) |
