If you 'aren't that bothered' why did you even bother blurring the IP address out?  It's like saying 'I'm not that bothered if anyone robs my house, but I'll lock exactly one of the doors anyway'

Not necessarily, maybe some Romanian dude who likes gameasaurs will find a hole in IIS 7.5 or wordpress 3.6 after giving up looking at your pptp vpn port. Then again, maybe that kind of stuff is mythical nonsense
