Re: superhub 2
That's the difference in philosophy between the two of us. I'd rather have 80 than 60.

Re: superhub 2
and then there's another difference in philosophy where I would expect my ISP to do at least the bare minimum and not drag their heels. You have ISPs like Sky and BT who install the necessary capacity, as well as ample spare capacity to provide a better user experience, then virgin who dont add enough capacity to allow users to reach full speed

Re: superhub 2
to be fair 70% of max speed at peak is brilliant for a VM connection.
I guessing seph gets full speeds off peak.

Quite often ill shoot upto 100+ for 10 or so seconds then back down again ( Counter-strike 1.6). Its one of my reasons for getting a router, That and a lower ping.

Because i have what i call a perfect SH1 graph and the second i started using the SH2 it looks terrible like most other SH2 graphs, so it is definitely the SH2 causing it. It even looks like that without any network activity, but gets alot worse the second i turn on the computer and start browsing. However it doesn't seem to affect my connection.

Re: superhub 2
Who cares what the graph looks like aslong as the connection isn't affected?
I had a really bad graph since the trial started:
I decided to do a button reset last week:
Graph improved but my connection was perfectly fine at both times.

I have had really bad Lag on fifa this evening. I have SH1 in Modem Mode so i think its down to EA Servers or an Issue with Virgin but SH can't be blamed.

ok assuming same US channels etc.
its possible the superhub2 is playing priority games with ping packets.

Re: superhub 2
i get the same SH2 graph with any US channel, but atleast it doesn't seem to affect my connection as jitter is only 0-1%, far better than what i had with the SH1.
