AFAIK, the VM tirallists received production models which don't have the VM logo above the WPS button.

Also, to make life even more different, the front panel LEDs are described by VM as being on the side panel. Which side panel is that? The front one or the rear one? LOL.
I thought that to some degree too, mine dosnt have the virgin media logo above the wps and mine was an upgrade from the shub 1, is that normal?

It should work just fine without the logo.

Presumably the logo will be on subsequent production batches.

Re: superhub 2

Has anyone got a lower RxMER (dB) on the Superhub2?, These are my current power levels on SH2 Around 38: http://postimg.org/image/95auh9v8r/

On my old superhub the RxMER was allways well above 40.

Not sure if its a problem with the UBR i connect to or if its to do with the SH2. Doesn't effect my connection just found it rather odd.

via retentions dial 150 from a Virgin Media landline, then select menu option 5 then option 3 and they can post you it and all you pay is the postage costs.

why are you guy assuming the worser graphs are due to the SH2?

Looks to me seph simply has lower network utilisation in his area.

the guide I used is. ( i think ) I used shibby.

http://moonlightknighthk.wordpress.c...n-asus-router/

Be aware one of the shibby builds boots so slow it feels like its bricked but isnt.

Tomatousb is indeed very nice, but with a bad weakness that pretty much any config change triggers a full network restart, shouldnt be an issue on VM but was bad for me on BT with its dynamic ip system.

tomato-K26USB-1.28.RT-MIPSR2-102-AIO.trx is verified stable by me.

build 104 has the weird slow boot freeze issue.

I don't thik so, Chrys. Nowadays I get around 80/6 at peak times. And the upstream rarely goes above 8 meg during the day.

If that's all I got for my 100Mbps connection I'd drop a tier

Re: superhub 2

Well, it is up to 120 meg. if I dropped a tier, it would only be up to 60.

True... but I'd guess you would get close to 60 most of the time, unlike the 120 where you say you tend to get 80 at best.
