It's not irrelevant, it's the difference between whether or not only the BBC can do anything about it or the possibility that Virgin could manage it themselves with a stb software update.

It's been updated to say "when it launches on Virgin Media", which can only really be taken as official confirmation that it will. I'm happy to have got this one wrong!

Been saying for a while that BT Sport is coming to VM and that link proves that. Only info is if HD channels are coming and at what cost BT Sport will cost
