After experiencing Comet's after sales customer service (prior to their demise) can I suggest dealing directly with Toshiba to resolve any issues with the TV? If you return your TV to Comet in their current situation, there is a risk that you won't see it againl

You aren't the only one. I bought a 22inch LED TV for my bedroom (I only have a small bedroom, so 22inch was more than adequate) at Comet. Thankfully (I am typing this while touching wood for those who are superstitious) it's working at the moment.

Re: SuperHub not recognised by Toshiba TV wireless setup

The saga continues, yes Ferretuk, re power off, I have done a hard reset on TV by powering off until the power light goes, then plugging again. I also followed Toshiba's instruction to power off before fitting or removing the wireless adaptor.

I ran a cable to the TV. In auto setup it correctly displays the IP address, Default Gateway and Subnet Mask. I go to 'Test Connection' and it says Unable to connect, please check you network settings" . The router's connected devices list does not display the TV Mac Address.

The same cable plugged to my laptop quickly produces the laptop's MAc on the router's list.

When the cable is plugged to the TV, I can hear the signal every 2 or 3 secs coming slightly through the audio, so, it is receiving and it gets the Gateway address etc as above.

There is either some basic setting I have to make TV or on the router, which I can not find anywhere, it is faulty. As it is not even connecting by cable, I did not try disabling the router's encryption as Ferretuk suggested.

Toshiba still have not responded to my help request. At present I am giving this a and determination to resolve.

Sounds increasingly like your TV is faulty

Can you ping the TV when it's connected by cable?

Re: SuperHub not recognised by Toshiba TV wireless setup

Thanks Ferretuk, I should have thought of that. I will hook it up by cable again and try later this evening.

This is the most frustrating thing I have used since encountering Windows Home Vista

Correct that, Windows Millennium outstrips them all for which Msoft deserves
