I can certainly vouch for the batch processing problem. My card transactions are with Streamline and I have had no credit to date for all of Thursday's transactions.

I wouldn't mind betting they have taken the money from the cardholders' accounts and are just sitting on it.

Well they managed to post the ATM transaction I did this morning against my account, if only they were so quick sorting my salary out - still waiting for this.

Same here. This is now costing me money and i am keeping a list of costs. I also need a new tax disk for my wife's car on Friday. If she cannot use her car next week then i will expect them to pay for her transport costs while she waits for the tax disk.

Not quite sure where you could go from here as the choice regards UK banks is not great and you dislike one or two of the others out there.

That will happen automatically and the other banks such as Santander are waiving charges were it is proven to be a Natwest/RBS/Ulster Bank issue.

Natwest should sort out their side automatically so they say but as they have screwed up once then hey ho, but other banks will refund charges given proof it is an error as above.

I agree it could be worse but why should i be inconvenienced just because RBS cannot organise a **** up in a brewery "allegedly"

The biggest problem will be that if RBS are fined for this you know who will end up paying for it.

Anything to do with outsourcing IT to India, I wonder? Company I worked for did a lot of outsourcing to India, they often just did what they wanted leaving local support to take the flack and sort it.
