Magic or NTL
After all my troubles with mail here
http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/sh...ad.php?t=20921
I again rang support and after the technician had spoken to another, told me my router was faulty. I replied, IF? I replace my router and its not the problem all hell will break lose. I looked on the web for another router and decided to think about it for a day. Switched off and this afternoon when going on line, everything is working fine. So who gave NTL a box of Smarties? Since then I have been advised to do a router update from Netgear. Just in case it has a software fault.

Magic and NTL in the same sentence.
Never known that but have known them blame everyone but themselves.
Unfortunateley it always backfires on NTL

I am delighted your problem is sorted. it's always nice when something gets fixed, even if the tooth fairy apparently did it.
I used to be able to call on the tooth fairy in extreme cases, but it was only Bill C in disguise.

That's his little trick, he likes to make of point of publically declaring it though, pointless imo.

I have the greatest respect for Bill C he is a asset to NTL, he knows his stuff and he is very pro NTL like any good employee.
I am not being critical of Bill or any other person who works for the company just the advice that was given to me from TS was incorrect.
well we can all use ignore lists as i have done now
