I have no idea how accurate the info on that list is, but as I'm in Bradford and it says that the faster service should be "Available Now" in Bradford, I just assumed that the upload speed would have been upgraded.

Oh well, even if we haven't been upgraded here yet, at least the new hub should make uploading photos less painful. Thanks
I think they're updating that document now when *most* of an area is done, and not all of it. Anyhow what you report has been seen by a few others. I suspect it's perhaps when a small percentage of an area is exceptionally hard to do and takes longer, they won't hold the rest of the area up so mark it as "done" when >90% of it gets done. Just my guess anyhow.

Re: Scientific Atlanta 2100 modems not compatible with upload speed upgrade?

Hi everyone,

I have the model EPC2100R2 Sa modem, what software and where do i find the software to upgrade the speeds? i purchased it off a friend and now he has gone down south so im not able to get in touch with him no more and the speeds are a little steady at the moment, i know my area has been upgraded to 50mb and wondered if i could upgrade to at least 20mb if at all possible, any advice/replies will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Re: Scientific Atlanta 2100 modems not compatible with upload speed upgrade?

software? no but there is a VM phone number as well as an official website you could visit to obtain better speeds for a monthly charge.. which of course many people are doing. I'd like to highlight at this point enjoy what you've brought off your friend while you can as measures are in place to kick non subscription modems off the network.
