Many thanks for your email and for taking the time to write to Virgin Media.
It's great to hear that you're a big fan of US sports and enjoy watching ESPN America and ESPN. It's also nice to hear you enjoy watching ITV4 and would like to watch both channels in HD.
We hope you're enjoying watching all the HD channels we launched last year, including BBC1 HD, ITV1 HD and ESPN HD
It's really helpful to hear comments from customers like you as it helps us develop our future thinking and product roadmap. However, it's not always possible for us to carry every channel due to capacity and commercial considerations but we constantly review and evolve the channels we make available.
In the meantime, we hope you continue to enjoy watching ESPN America and the other US sports available in high definition on ESPN HD, including: NBA, NHL and NFL Monday Night Football in addition to other sports in high definition including the UEFA Champions League on ITV1 HD.
Thanks again for your feedback.
Kind regards
Rob

I'm guessing it's a stock answer... I work with the network everyday, so I know we don't have bandwith issues. We are currently adding even more bandwith to future proof our network.

' Whats this, we don't have the capacity to carry extra channels' l thought this joke stopped on April 1st, or is it VM taking the mick out of its customers, which is not unusual.

I read that it is exactly 2 years ago today it joined the EPG so someone was speculating that it's deal came to an end, dunno really.
It has just got off, no doubt in a rush!

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
An internal memo to staff has told us it has been permanently removed from the epg. Maybe their contract has ended as speculated in a different thread OFF DS FORUM.

Maybe that's what they have done and it will be a cable exclusive.
There's no indication it has gone bust.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
So SKY Arts 1 HD and SKY Arts 2 HD launch on the 26th April, 2 days after Easter. SKY Sports red button is rumoured to launch at Easter time and it's been suggested SKY on demand would arrive once Virgin launched 2 separate tiers of on demand with SKY on demand being added to XL on demand. Looks like this could be one of the best Easters ever. Just hope Virgin don't have all their eggs in the one basket

I'm eggstatic that both yourself and Carl enjoyed my pun. I must admit I was cracking up when I was typing it. Feel free to use it elsewhere, I don't mind my material being poached. I've pretty much egghausted my repertoire of egg jokes. My brains scrambled trying to come up with new material. I give up, I'm totally fried.
