See above it is still news, think of it along the lines of "You can put lipstick on a pig but it is still a pig"

It should also be noted, specifically by those who say that subs prices should be reduced when channels are removed, that the price has not increased* when these new channels are added.
(* above the standard increase announced some time ago.)

indeed, it seems so. We don't have any capacity issues with TV at all.

Ok to put it better if your favourite show was on a channel which was in SD and HD and you had an HDTV which would you watch it in ? This is the main reason Sky have upgraded their channels to HD , most people on here seem pleased enough when VM announce a deal for a Sky HD channel , however I also agree Sky News HD shouldn't be the top of VM shopping list.

I stand by my point and will not be ridiculed by these ridiculous and pointless image posts. You're supposed to be working for a professional company and as far as I'm concerned, have not been professional throughout this discussion.

We are not here as actual staff because this is not an official site, we are recognised as staff because of our knowledge about the company we work for which is Virginmedia.
The comments and pictures are not in anyway aimed at you are they but SKY News.

Then why are VM themselves referring to it in emails they send out as a reason for not carrying some channels (see below), you condescending [Mod Edit].
Many thanks for your email and for taking the time to write to Virgin Media.
It's great to hear that you're a big fan of US sports and enjoy watching ESPN America and ESPN. It's also nice to hear you enjoy watching ITV4 and would like to watch both channels in HD.
We hope you're enjoying watching all the HD channels we launched last year, including BBC1 HD, ITV1 HD and ESPN HD
It's really helpful to hear comments from customers like you as it helps us develop our future thinking and product roadmap. However, it's not always possible for us to carry every channel due to capacity and commercial considerations but we constantly review and evolve the channels we make available.
In the meantime, we hope you continue to enjoy watching ESPN America and the other US sports available in high definition on ESPN HD, including: NBA, NHL and NFL Monday Night Football in addition to other sports in high definition including the UEFA Champions League on ITV1 HD.
Thanks again for your feedback.
Kind regards
Rob

Do not try to evade the swear filter - re-occurrence of this behaviour may invoke infractions.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
The interesting thing for me about these 2 new HD channels coming is the question of getting the official launch date ahead of VM press release email? for example SKY One HD and red button SKY Sports date given here first, but last night knowone new when these channels where launching officially

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. II.
Sky Viewers lose some HD Channels.
Sky lovers on Digital Spy are reporting that Luxury Life HD and Rush HD have both gone from the Sky EPG.
I have now remove them from my list.

Are you being serious? If you are then you are actually making yourself look pretty silly. Can I also draw your attention to our forum signitures.

Seems surprising that it got past those "in the know" on here
