Seems your right,Very disappointed with vm.Look like they are expecting tivo to bring new/keep customers rather than channels

If anything does happen I would guess Friday (1st) is more likely, or next Tuesday based on past launches. Maybe even the day Tivo is officially available.
Wednesday the 30th with no prior announcement seemed an odd day to me personally.

If you type a post entirely in capitals, it only capitalises the first letter of each word, to make it easier to read

Remember though last year 5HD arrived unannounced, as others have said I'd expect new channels once VM are in there new financial year which starts on Friday.

Indeed,
However I would personally expect VM to announce the arrival of pay channels before they happened, as far as I recall they always have before.
It's great that VM are adding premium channels or 'free' channels to the lineup but it appears XL customers are now looking for pay channels to join their line up, it's 6 months since any joined as far as I know.
Tivo's launch seems as good a time as any.

And another batch of rumours bites the dust, what a surprise. VM have done a good job over the last 9 months shutting down the leaks within their organisation. But then that may be because there is nothing going on at all.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. I.
Strange though. I must admit getting annoyed when we weren't getting the HD that Sky was getting (And by that I mostly mean the Standard Channel4, 5 and ITV stuff) but TBH I don't watch half the HD channels we have now...letalone more.
Eurosport and Sky Sports 1 & 2 HD were a biggy for me, and I would like 3 & 4 HD but can live without it till it comes...
Sky Atlantic, well, you can't miss what you've not seen and there aren't enough hours in the day to watch what I want to now letalone more. ITV 2 3 4 HD??? Meh!!!
As for the Doc. channels, well I can't say I watch them much anyways.
More important for me is the Red Button facility and ine intro of standard Tivo in the next few months/years. (so I hope my SA box dies in a little while LOL)
I absolutly believe from what people on here have said and implied that our HD line up will increase but I want VM to get a good deal rather than our bills going up more than they have to.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2011) Vol. I.
Wasn't there meant to be a tivo launch partty today where people hoped new channels would be announced as well?
Has the party happened, about to happen later today or was that false information re the launch party?
