Nov 15th. True Movies 1 will be available for free to all customers on Virgin Channel 424 until January 5th.
Dec. 1st. GOLD will be available for free to all customers on Virgin Channels 126 and 127 until January 5th.
Dec. 1st. Cinemoi will be available for free to all customers on Virgin Channel 445 until January 31st.

A: RTE Radio and WRN Radio do not broadcast in Ex-ntl and Ex-Cable & Wireless areas - yet.

Q: NOW THAT BSKYB HAS TOOK OVER VIRGIN MEDIA TELEVISION WILL ANY CHANNELS CLOSE ON VIRGIN TV?
A: Yes Sky has closed Bravo and Challenge Jackpot down and Channel One will soon follow. But us Virgin Media viewers will see some channels moving about as we have now got Sky1 HD and maybe getting Sky Arts 1 HD and Sky Arts 2 HD soon.

BBC Radio 4 to launch Extra station.

The BBC is preparing to forge ahead with plans to rebrand digital station Radio 7 as a spinoff network to Radio 4, but the move is expected to face opposition from the industry.

According to the Daily Telegraph, the new station will launch (in) spring (2011) and broadcast a schedule more closely aligned to Radio 4.

Does anyone have any credible information of talks going on between VM and Sky for the Sky Atlantic channel?

Does anyone know for sure the nature of the agreement between VM and Sky in respect of options for VM to carry any future channels launched by Sky in the future?

well the sky adverts for sky atlantic show HD version is Sky exclusive so thats out they would not say thats if we had any chance of getting it

I have been told today by an Insider that the Sky Red button should launch on Virgin Media sometime before April 2011.
