Anyone here has the Red Ring of Death after using Kinect?
Apparently people have (on the news), but MS say it's not related.

Maybe it's due to the Kinect drawing too much power and some early xboxes not having adequate protection against that?

 Correct me if I'm wrong, but used with the older 360 the Kinect has it's own power supply.

Kinect has exceeded MS' expectations, shifting over eight million units since release. They expected five million in this amount of time and I didn't think it would make that total.

the new slim s model which i have has its own built in power supply for kinect

It does. I was speculating on one possible cause. After all, it still draws some current, and I did sometimes find that plugging my iPod into my old xbox would cause the RROD.
