Re: Students Rioting in London.
Anyone notice how this thread has been moved exclusively to the guy in the wheel chair instead of the hooligans that were rioting and terrorising the public. oh well it gives someone the chance to be a bleeding heart lefty and attack the police AGAIN.

One doesn't, but one's sense of perspective changes when one is in the middle of a riot and doesn't have the luxury of thinking a situation through before putting the world to rights on an internet forum and telling the world how one could do it better than those in the thick of it.

Yes, clear enough for you to show how narrow-minded you are and feel no need to seek the full facts first. In the words of the youth of today, "epic fail".

Deleting my question and making fun of it makes no difference to your reply. What did she mean by:
Is pulling a paraplegic from a wheelchair totally justifiable as well? The reason I ask is, that there seemed to be some disagreement with the officers on the ground. For the life of me I can't possibly see were the justification would have come from though. Perhaps with your inside knowledge you could explain it.

Paraplegic?

But the children and the disabled peaceful protesters didn't start the riots. Therefore, they shouldn't be subjected to the punishments you want to have dished out to those who do.

Secondly the people organising these protests know that there are going to be idiots, hooligans, and general doe balls at there protests so why not do what you do best and ask them as well.
|
Are they on this forum (whoops! Sorry, another question )? It would be great if they were, because you could ask them some questions too.

As for my feelings on the subject i have no intention of answering only to have a question from you are as reply. I have better things to do with my time than engaging in your debating technique of constantly asking questions whilst not giving answers in return. I will now await the little flashing indicator in the top right of my screen with your normal retort
|
Aah, yes the tricky questions are always the most difficult to answer. Instead of complaining about me asking questions, why don't you answer one or two of them? It might help me understand your reasoning.

Re: Students Rioting in London.
I regard myself as having a great deal of common sense and I can see that in the middle of a group of pushing and shoving police and demonstrators that picking someone up fireman style and moving them is possibly preferable than trying to move the man and the possibly heavy wheelchair.
Just a thought.
But then I'm a reasonable thinking person.

No that doesn't make someone a troublemaker. But using a disability to create a situation the police have no chance of looking anything other than the bad guys in just to make a point, THAT would be a troublemaker.

That is because it fits with the "abuse of authority" thing.

So are the ones which have the "I'm right because I'm right. Why? because I'm right" as the primary motivation.

But you don't want to understand. You have no intentions, because as we're used to by now, "Flyboy is right because flyboy is right."

What is safer, throwing him from his chair and dragging him across the road, with the officers having not a clue why he was in a chair endangering him even further, or restraining him safely and wheeling him across the road? If it came to it, they could always lift him out of his chair and carry him, bosun style.

There you go using highly emotive language again.Throwing and dragging.

Re: Students Rioting in London.
Is anybody counting?
We should make this into a game.
How many questions will Flyboy be asked before he responds with an answer instead of a question?

The only noise around here is what you keep spouting about how you'd do it better than the police.
Tell you what, why not join up as a Special. In fact I know why not - you wouldn't last 2 minutes.

I am sorry of I have a different opinion to everybody else, but I thought that was point of having a debate.
