Have you reported the issue, even if you have previously you will need to again or they will assume the fault is fixed.

Haven't done so yet, I had reported it the last time and was told to wait, but I am sure the time span has expired now.

It's been reported over on the official VM forum apparently.

It helps though if you ring in as well to report the issue as the more callers we get the quicker they realise that the is an issue.

Re: 4 On Demand...Jumping

There was supposed to be a fix ages ago and was told not to replace boxes, but it's been months now so I swAp them for ciscos or 2110s. The problem is if it's a sa v+ that's all some of us have!

We are told that if the customer has particular models that an automated replacement request is added to any tech visit.

So what about the model I have reported here, will I be requiring a replacement?

Re: 4 On Demand...Jumping

I think it may just affect certain programmes on the 4 on demand service as I have just checked come dine with me and My funniest year 2000, and they look fine with no jumping.

Re: 4 On Demand...Jumping

Ok, the ticket for 4OD freezing is closed...

The only National ticket we have is for Freezing On Demand programmes is for TV Choice CUTV assets - HD Only.

So shouldn't be affecting 4OD. If it continues, let me know what assets you are having problems with and I'll check in the office. Cheers

Well to be honest I have only noticed the problem with one particular programme, it is called 9/11: 102 Minutes That Changed America.

I see swift little jumps especially when there are slow zooms or a pan when there are movements like people walking, it's not noticeable at the very start, it's more like they begin as from when you see the tower full of smoke, it's the same problem that some people reported some time ago when as you say there was a problem with certain content for 4OD, at that time I noticed it with the come dine with me series, but not so at the moment.

If I find any other I will post back here, but at present it's only the first programme I mention here.
