Intermittent connection issues

Hi Guys need help with this issue, I'm in the North London area and suffering from intermittent connection loss.

I'm not sure how to log into modem to check signal strength, but i run a ping test to an external website and can see packet drops.

At the same time I run a ping to my router and can see no issues, which tell me the problem is external to my network.

I have phoned tech support on numerous occasion's and got no where fast.

any help or suggestions would be appreciated

Please post the Upstream and Downstream stats from your modem just click http://192.168.100.1/CmOpConfig.asp or if that does not work click http://192.168.100.1/

They look fairly normal so a call into the centre appears to be in order.

So call tomorrow after 0800 on 151 from a Virginmedia phone line or 0845 454 1111 from any other phone line and an agent will run some diagnostics with you.
