That is just irritating. Played so well, how on earth did we lose that.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Unlucky for Arsenal that was, they at the very least deserved a point out of that game, oh how the goalie can change a match (still think this is why Shay Given is City`s best signing)
First of all we have an outstanding save by Ben Foster which kept Man U in the game, then we have Mr Skunky, sorry Almunia flying out like the Mallard and handing (literally) Utd a goal, then to top it off standing like statue when Giggs sent that free kick over. It wasn`t a difficult ball to come for as there where very few players in the way, also it was a floater not a fizzer like the unlucky Van Persie`s free kick. Having played in goal to a reasonable level i would have to say Almunia cost Arsenal dearly today while Ben Foster seems to be growing in confidence.
And who`s joining me in a big aaah! for Berbatov? He had to do a bit of running after coming on fresh and ready to go then did that dear `o` dear. Ferguson must be hoping Rooney stays fit as without him United would only be just above average.
Congrats to Man U, unlucky to Arsenal, not a bad watch actually.
Chelsea and Spurs 4 out of 4, i think this season is going to see a lot more teams jockeying for them top 4 spots.

Re: Football : Season 2009/2010
Two seasons +4 of boring football. Two Prem Titles and 9 points. I really don't know what that says about the rest of the Prem. Should Ferguson ever wake up and buy in some quality players to replace one or two of the flare(less) players, we could win the Prem as a background task.
I thought he may have acted after the Burnley farce, the fact it was Burnley made it into a "One of those things" but sooner or later a decent team will take us to the cleaners. Then Fergie can sit an count the £80Mill and wonder why he didn't splash £15 of it on Wesley Sneijder. £5Mill on Tuncay. Or £7Mill on "One in Four for Holland" Van Der Vart. There is no value in the market eh? It's a poor squad, I don't like it and haven't liked for a few seasons. Winning isn't everything.

Eboue getting booked for diving?
...and with only seconds to go, the ref holds up the game to ensure that Wenger gets off the field of play. He hadn't even made it to the tunnel when the ref blew for full time. Made me laugh when he climbed on top of the old tunnel.

That was pretty funny. All he did was kick a water bottle when he found out Gallas was offside and the goal didn't stand. Not to mention he was probably still miffed into how Arsenal managed to give the game away.

Anyway despite the result my feeling is that it was a good sign for Arsenal in the season ahead. We were the better team, and we should have won. If we can go to Old Trafford and put in that kind of performance then I think we are title contenders and the talk of not finishing in the top 4 seems unlikely now.
It's important that Arsenal don't lose all confidence and go on a losing steak though. We need to come back strong at City in a couple of weeks.
This was yet another unconvincing performance from United though and I think Chelsea will probably be even firmer favourites for the title at the moment.

You may have been the slightly better team on the day, but I wasn't blown away with Arsenal's performance. Better than last year, but Arsenal still have a lot to do...

Well, Ironically, I thought our defence was good. Kept United from having a single decent shot. Which is why they decided to help out and score one on United behalf . This was our weakest point last season and it's encouraging. As were are midfield.

Vintage slice from donkey, he even had the good manners to end up on his arse too. Unforgettable. Flog him back to Spurs.
