So in one breath you state you hadn't heard of him before the Euro's and then try a berate some one who points out he was excellent in the UEFA cup the next, top use of sarcasm there young man and btw him playing well against Holland was irrelevant to my post.

Re: Close Season Transfer Rumour Mill
Arsenal have been given a 'take-it-or-leave-it' £30m offer by Barcelona for striker Emmanuel Adebayor. (Various)
Don't know about you but I'd take it

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has said the Italian club have received a "huge" offer from Chelsea for Brazilian playmaker Kaka. (La Stampa, 1342 BST)
Wonder how much they have offered

Not heard anything about this from Tottenham sources (i.e the website or the press) but considering Fergie's displeasure at Real Madrid, the words kettle, black and pot coming to mind.

well cant see anything saying they want to sell him on their website? Have they said they want to sell him?
Do you think Spurs or any other club would want to sell one of their best players (who was already in a contract with them?).

They said last season they didn't want to sell him, the constant drip drip got to the player and he didn't impress the new manager. Although to be fair to Berbatov why would he want to stay, not when their top transfer target considers plying his trade in Uzbekistan more attractive than North London
Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o is travelling to Uzbekistan to talk to the country's leading club, with Kuruvchi reportedly ready to put together a $40m deal. "I'm planning to return to Barcelona and starting from Saturday, I will consider all my options, including the one from Kuruvchi," said Eto'o. (Reuters, 1827 BST)

Re: Close Season Transfer Rumour Mill
Its on the fans' sites. They aren't best pleased. although its a bit different. Its not quite tapping up, but still its not professional.
We knew he wanted to go and expected it, but are also a bit annoyed its all been left so late. We still didn't have any word from Berbatov past the pre-season deadline and no offers revealed. Now it seems like a deal, and we've not really got any firm leads. We do Santa Cruz, Arshavin, Pavlyuchenko in the frame, but its not promising, especially if we lose Keane as well.

From what i've heard/read he wants to play champions league football, which he wont get at Spurs this season at least. United put a bid in and it is only stalling because Spurs want more money for him apparently. I'm sure if they didn't want to sell him they would have released a statement saying so, as this isn't just speculation, an actual bid has been made.

Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has insisted Cristiano Ronaldo will be at Old Trafford next season and will not be joining Real Madrid.

Then the club will endure the same nonsense next season, just like Arsenal had with Viera and Spurs had with Berbatov, plus if his performances drop so will his value, Berbatov was 'worth' 40 odd million this time last year, now half that
And I wonder what Fergie made of his slave comments, what slave ever got £100k a week?

Tottenham have complained to the Premier League over Manchester United and Liverpool's pursuit of Dimitar Berbatov and Robbie Keane.
Berbatov has long been linked with a move to United, and Sir Alex Ferguson's public comments that he expects a deal to go through have infuriated Spurs.
