Open a command screen type netstat press enter,any active open ports will be listed.
wouldn't that only list the connections from the machine i'm on though... in which case im on the machine so therefore I know (mostly) what I'm running on it
hmmm, well there is two ways I can think of. Either do a port scan on each computer for open ports that may indicate it. Or run all the traffic through some router that makes logs or a packets sniffer.
Depending on who owns the network the latter could be illegal.
