I'm in Coventry, I've just rebooted my modem, and I certainly haven't been upgraded:
Maximum Downstream Data Rate : 4096000
Maximum Upstream Data Rate : 400000
What's the point of having that status page if it's giving incorrect details?

Re: Virgin 4Mb to upgrade to 10Mb February - Summer
It might just be that the roll out is done! not that everyone is upgraded I take it. I dont know how this works but do they not have to go into every account and upgrade? that could take time!

Thanks Sigma. I've gone into link you gave and note below what it shows:
Signal
This page provides important information about the status and quality of the communications between your cable modem and the cable modem network.
Downstream Channel
The data shown in the table below provides information about the signal coming from the network to your cable modem. Downstream Status
OperationalChannel ID
0Downstream Frequency
331000000 HzModulation

Upstream Channel
The data shown in the table below provides information about the signal being transmitted to the network from your cable modem. Upstream Status
OperationalChannel ID

Can you tell me what this shows?

.
Sorry to take up more space on this topic, but this is what I get when checking with SpeedTest. Not sure that Dublin is the closest server to Fife, but SpeedTest says it is.

hmmm, thats odd, your download Bit Rate at 10240000 bps is right, as thats 10Mbit/s.
but your Upload Bit Rate at 384000 bps seems wrong as thats nearer the old speed not the new 512Kbit/s upload rate it should be, is every ones upload rate outside the xC&W/xNTL areas that same lower speed setting?

I'd be interested to see one of these adverts saying everyone would be upgraded in February.
Everything I have seen advert wise, on the website and in the letter they sent me says starting in February and continuing through the summer.

Now you and I know I did not say everyone would be upgraded at once, but certainly Coventry was in the limited list to be upgraded, and it did not say starting in February it said we would be done by the end of February.
Please do not twist my words
