And that's what people seem to forget when commenting on the state of the 'PC Brigade'. People more often then not blame the ethnic group/religion concerned for banning Christmas, pigs, Santa Clause, Cows, Blackboards, Bibles for the state of affairs, when in reality they (the group who its been deemed will be offended) just wonder what the hell is going on.

Thank you for totally destroying your own arguments in one sentance.
I'm just glad I wasn't drinking anything when I read your post or it'd be all over my monitor!

No were just asking them to stop being over the top and warp things beyond what they are.We aledgedly live in a democracy that promotes free speech yet this subject is hardly free speech is it?
Every thing you say is defending "Muslims" and not defending the "others".
Why shouldn't we be allowed to say anything?
Even if it does offend(that word again)Muslims?
I'm very sure 99% of "Muslims" couldn't be the slightest bit bothered about this, although there's always that 1% who will try and warp it to no end.

Do you honestly think that i am that stupid. I and other's know the little game you play on here where you try to trap someone in to admitting something that will assist you in your word games. I for one will not be one of them. You accused the wrong person this time.

Why do we have to please "MUSLIMS" all the <EDITED - JEFFERSON T> time?
Why can't we just say whatever needs to be said without it "offending" "Muslims" every <EDITED - JEFFERSON T> time a pork <EDITED - JEFFERSON T> sandwich or some other crap appears on tv advertisement ?
Hardly free speech.
I hope this sorts itself out seriously <EDITED - JEFFERSON T> up this is.
Who gives a <EDITED - JEFFERSON T> about 3 <EDITED - JEFFERSON T> pigs ffs?
Oh i forgot It's them "Muslims again.
We hear that word so many times.

I'm assuming that you have failed to grasp the idea that its a perception of judges that has led to the book being rejected in the awards (not banned) and that muslims had nothing to do with it (quote copied below)
Also can I put forward a challenge to you. How about you post some concrete evidence of muslims actually forcing something to be banned in the UK, as opposed to something being banned/removed/rejected based on a perception by a group (usually non muslims) that it will offend Muslims.
As for your other post about Xaccers being a spy fro the Muslim Council, thanks for making my day with one of the funniest statements I've read on this forum in a long time.
Quote:
A story based on the Three Little Pigs has been turned down from a government agency's annual awards because the subject matter could offend Muslims.
The digital book, re-telling the classic fairy tale, was rejected by judges who warned that "the use of pigs raises cultural issues".
The awards which rejected the book are run by Becta, the government's educational technology agency.
The judging panel also attacked the book's stereotyping of builders.

Right, so you should be able to make uneducated comments deriding the British muslim community, blaming them for things which they've had nothing to do with, and no one should be able to set you straight?
Lovely.
Nice idea about free speech there.
Do you honestly believe that muslims should be blamed for BECTA's decision, or other decisions made on their behalf without consultation?
If BECTA had done the same but said it would offend Jews and people started blaming the Jewish community for the decision, I'd be defending the Jews.
Here's a challenge for you if you believe they're trying to force their culture onto us, list 10 news articles where the muslims (plural mind you, not just one wacko) have asked for the banning of porcine products.

I wasnt gonna comment, but.........
Its not always Muslims who complain openly but let their religous views be know so that they then get taken up by the white English PC brigade. So although they may not make the statement personally and publicly its there.....
Some light reading

How many Muslims are or have been offended by the "Three Little Pigs" story?

Great, a load of links which you've obviously not read (otherwise you'd know which ones were identical) and rather than showing that Muslims are asking for pork to be banned, those relating to porcine matters simply do not expose themselves to it.
The one actual article (rather than anti-muslim blogs) again just states that muslims are not asking for people to change to their beliefs, they're just excluding themselves from activities they consider to be against their own beliefs.
If a teetotaller like myself doesn't go down the pub because it's full of drunken oafs drinking themselves to an early grave, is my avoidance of that pub an attempt to force those inside to give up alcohol, or is it just that I don't agree with getting rat faced?
As for halal meat, you'd best avoid NewZealand lamb then.
Personally, I'd rather animals were processed in accordance to halal, that way they'll be treated with care through their lives, and given a quick painless death, rather than a slow agonizing one from a bolt to the head or electric shock then strung up to slowly bleed to death while their brain is kept oxygenated, but hey, if slow painful death is what you prefer animals to suffer, so be it.

I quickly browsed the links and as I stated it's light reading besides I have other things to do at the moment than sit here reading 10's of different sites to check for duplication all night.
I think you may have missed the bit where I mentioned >>>>>

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that if people come to this country (lets forget about asylum seekers, illegal immigrants, muslims, hindu's etc for the moment) Why should we have to intergrate ourselves into their way of life, taking on aspects of what they require where they have little or no intrest into intergrating themselves into our culture, beliefs etc, they came here and now the 3 likkle piggies cant have their day
And as for New Zeland lamb. Bring it on baby YUMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!
