Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
Bah, I dunno about you lot but I'm bored of this whole affair now. Maybe I've become desensitized to what has happened/is happening because of the saturation coverage.
Now that Team McCann are heading back to Blighty I'm sure their story will be sold to the highest bidding tabloid, and OK magazine will buy the rights to photograph the inside of the girl's bedroom in their UK home for a six-figure amount.
I think I'll just wait for the inevitable made-for-TV film to be broadcast so that I can find out what is supposed to have happened.

Well, they are working hard on it. This morning, Gerry was exclusive to NoTW, and Kate was exclusive to People.
Is the landing at 12:30 going to be shown live? Is it true that Sir Stelios we be there to open the airplane door?

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
A statement from the McCann's has just been read out by their family spokesperson. They said "They played no part in the disappearance of their beloved daughter".
Whether it was an accidental death by Kate McCann, or an abduction by a stranger, I'm sure many people would disagree with that statement!

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
Gerry's just repeated that bile on landing, before being whisked away like royalty with police escort. No sign of Social Services or any handcuffs, when at the very least they are guilty of child neglect, for all anyone knows Kate could have Munchausen's syndrome or something.

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
Yes tbh that statement is a load of bs. Although i think it was indirect they DID play a part in the abduction by not being there to stop it happening and i think as i have said before they have official questions to answer in this country but then it is sunday so maybe tomorrow. Anyway we better be quiet and not discuss neglect as that has been done to death and the thread may be closed if that discussion opens up again. Hearing of the exclusive deals with papers to be honest sickens me no matter what amount of money they get or what it is used for they shouldn't get a penny.

Would you trust Gerry as your cardiologist?
and what's Kate's specialization? she said, she had come into contact with 4-5 corpses before going to Portugal, that's why the dog detected the scent of a dead person on her...
Would you trust Kate as your doctor?

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
Well to be honest i doubt many of her patients will be going to her for advice on childcare and thats not a dig simple fact. Not sure why i wouldn't want to have either of them treat me for illnesses they are qualified doctors far as i have heard nothing has called their professional conduct into question when they are practicing medicine. Apart from the above mentioned this shouldn't impact their careers but i am sure in someway it will.

The Portuguese police alleges that the Kate sedated the 3 kids but Maddie died from an overdose, while the McCanns were indulging themselves with 13 (!) bottles of wine... I would call that practising medicine, if it true...

That's an interesting theory. If true, they would look bad if they called emergency services and if they were found guilty of sedating the kids so they can go out to enjoy themselves, the backlash from that would be huge, no error of judgement or anything then.
And certainly something that 'could' be probable.

Surely that should be the Portuguese press making allegations? When the police allege something as serious as that, they don't normally let you leave the cell let alone the country

It is an interesting theory and your right the backlash would deservedly put her up with some of the most notorious criminals the country has seen.
Btw don't you think possible is better than probable, scenario wise?

At the moment, however, the one question I have (and one which the Police will have to prove at some point, if they persist in this line of enquiry) is this:
How did the McCanns smuggle the decomposing body of their daughter past the police, the world media and a horde of rubbernecking tourists, to get it into that car and off somewhere out of the glare of publicity long enough to arrange disposal?
If the Police's suggestion is based on this one piece of evidence, then they are right out on a limb here and, I submit, are not paying due regard to the contents of a certain Mr Occam's shaving cabinet.

There should be NO ONE cut any slack until the child is either found alive and well or a cadaver recovered. That is the most important part no one is trying to vilify anyone.
By the way of the McCanns statements saying they that she (Kate) is subject to Portugese police trying to frame her she is also implying that the British forces (specifically Leicestershire) are also actively involved in any attempt to frame, the evidence is first of all passed to FSS for examination and then passed to the liasing force for consideration and only then passed to the Portugese police.
Your question of how the body would be moved holds much providence. But if the blood in the hire car is the childs then it renders your question pretty much mute.
BBC24 raised an interesting question this morning which was that if that hire car was so important to the investigation why were the McCanns still allowed to use it

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
Well according to the telegraph they reckon they didn't sedate them and they got angry when asked that. Wow that's proved that theory wrong then.
Could they have touched a nerve?

Re: Toddler 'abducted' during holiday
I have been doing some digging. Gerry finished Glasgow Uni but he was very slow to get his specialization. In fact he became consultant cardiologist only two years ago
Quote:
GMC Reference Number 3585920
Given Names Gerald
Surname McCann
Sex Male
Registration Status Registered
Primary Medical Qualification
MB ChB 1992 Glasg (Conferred)
Provisional Registration Date 14 JUL 1992
Full Registration Date 01 AUG 1993
Specialist Register Cardiology from 31 MAR 2005
General (internal) Medicine from 31 MAR 2005
|
And she does not have a specialization, she only graduated from Brum Uni four years ago. She graduated as a 34 years old! a very slow learner. Without specialization what was she doing around dead bodies.
