Re: Little explanation on bill.
TW BB M = 2meg (ex telewest)
TV XL = urm.. can't remember what it was called on telewest before, Family pack or similar i think...
But as dcclanuk said - you are getting a bundling discount!

Re: Little explanation on bill.
I actually have 4Mb broadband (3965Mb download at 6 this morning - not bad, eh?). So should I be getting a bigger discount? I think that the £39.50 I pay (which includes all the movie channels) is pretty good value really, especially as we do loads of long-distance phoning at the weekend. Do Virgin negotiate on broadband prices though? When I told BT that I was getting cable BB, they gave me a big reduction if I agreed to a new 12 month contract. So I kept it as a backup.

Re: Little explanation on bill.
If you are paying 39.50 for 4mb, movie channels, and evenings and week-ends, you have a pretty good deal - asking for more discount may be regarded as extracting the urine, without use of a catheter.

I've got a similar discount (says TW but I'm ex-ntl) - I wouldn't complain about it though!.. lol.

Re: Little explanation on bill.
Thanks for all that. I receive an email notification and a paper bill for my broadband monthly direct debit. Is that normal?

Re: Little explanation on bill.
Should have said that the £39.50 mentioned above doesn't include broadband.
