Well given that they have announced that they are going to un-cap Virgin.net broadband, I do not think they will be introducing a cap on cable broadband.

Do Virgin think that people want to have everything with one supplier - I wouldn't trust Ntl (or Sky) with four accounts, neither of them could cope with two. That said it's rarely cheaper to do this anyway!
If you look at the ntl:Telewest accounts you will find that quite a large proportion of their customers take at least 2 and many take 3 services from them. Adding Mobile Telephony should not be a big step for many.

Re: Virgin Media Info

Dear Sirs

I have registered with you and I have a few observations to offer -

I had digital TV installed with NTL 3 weeks ago and had many reasons to send a specific and general letter of complaint to a Mr. Vas Argidhiotis (Managing Director - National Sales) I will return to this issue later. but would like to comment on your terms and conditions that contrasts sharply with the near absence of anything comparable at NTL.
Indeed I know of nothing similar operated by all the known competitors.

It is a very intimidating document: in a fairly small font size that those of us with poor eyesight find difficult to digest - it can hardly be described as `user friendly`

Overall I am very optomistic that your new management focus will greatly enhance your services to us all.

I wish to send an email copy of the unanswered letter that I have referred to previously. Would you send me an email at <email removed - Jefferson T> to facilitate this objective (to copy/paste that does not seem appropriate in this format)

Thank You

<address removed - Jefferson T>

Hi Alan

But dude don't post your address and email on a forum. Not a good idea!

What is the letter about?

Hi Crackerjack, I have the TV Drive or V+HD Box as it will soon be known as and its is very good. Works like Sky+ but slightly better. Best avoid the Text speak though.

I've removed your address and email from your post as we don't want spammers et al to get hold of you...

I'm not sure if you think this site is owned by ntl? It's not by the way.

As for the small font size - I've yet to see this document myself, but being a visually impaired person myself if I can't read it I'll be on the phone to customer services to ask them to send me a copy in a format that is suitable for me. Ntl have ALWAYS done this on request everytime I've called them.

So if you need a larger copy try to give them a call.

It will strike a wholesale deal with a telecoms supplier and install its own equipment in some BT exchanges, using phone lines to pipe television pictures to customers' homes. Some customers may be offered ultra-high-speed broadband at 50 megabytes per second.
Dissapointing, since the extra coverage simply means in those non cabled areas its just another adsl provider to choose from, especially in areas where there is a cable presence but they cant upgrade the analogue to support broadband.

BT can laugh at this as they will be earning revenue from ntl now and have a piece of just about every single broadband provider in this country.

It would be for me. I've been a very happy BlueYonder BB and Tv customer with no phone. I'm moving to an ntl area and was shocked to find out that no phone, no tv. So I'll keep cable for BB but I won't have a phone forced on me, I'm off to Sky.

Unhappy Re: Virgin Media Info

What a pathetic site! (knowfirst.co.uk)
Tells you nothing. Can't even contact them!
The getting to know you questionnaire does nothing of the sort, most questions didn't give any option I could honestly answer so had to put any rubbish in as my answer!
If this is a look at the future of the service I'm going over to Sky!

Calm down man its only a preview site, with a bit of early info. Judging by the look its been designed by the Virgin people.

I am sure once it gets nearer the time more info will appear or even a better website will arise.
