Re: On Demand not working

150 from the phone at 1030 - 3 minutes of messages then a person, all done by 1038 - Well done CS that's great answer times.

Message -> Get told about people in Ashford getting new firmware. Nice one Ashford.

Message -> Customers in Basildon will experience problems with tv and On Demand. Bad luck Basildon.

Epping, Loughton & Woodford - On Demand is out as a known issue. Fix date is today (at 8pm) but I have been asked to wait until the 1st of February if it doesn't start working today.

Not exactly what I wanted to hear because the guy, though the most helpful I have spoken to in weeks, wasn't very hopeful of a fix but at least I now have a target fix date.

It all bodes well as I now have a fix date (woohoo) and I got a letter from Richard Branson telling me how wonderful my TV, Phone, VoD, BB and Mobile will be soon (woohoo x2) with Virgin Media. <excited voice> I can't wait... But at this rate I don't think I'll ever see it!

That's cool Dranny, they must be on a bit of a drive to clear faults this weekend! Are they gonna come out on a Sunday?

I'll be impressed if they do!

Re: On Demand not working

VOD seems to be working intermittently here (LE9). I tried it the other night and it worked, but when I went to show her in doors later the same night it wasn't (much to her amusement!).

Sound good Dranny! I've not heard back from Faults Level 2 yet, I'll probably try calling them again...
Faulty return path causing your VOD problems? What were the symptoms? Were you getting the NDE01 error by any chance?

No i was getting IS002 error which was a return fault apparantly?
regarding my VOD problem in the earlier post , I just received a phone call from NTL and the man asked me to turn off the box and reboot (because he had done a simulation at his end and it was all ok) and to my amazement i have VOD again, sniff sniff.........

Re: On Demand not working

Looks like you've been lucky dranny!
I tried calling Faults again as I hadn't heard back from their Level 2.... After checking my account he told me that I'd dialled the wrong number as I'm on a different billing system and that he'll put me through, and put me through to CS! CS told me that Faults work 6 days a week, and it's 4 working days, so I should wait until the end of tomorrow before calling back. *sigh*

IS002 = no interactive setup on account. All they had to do was re-add it =)

Re: On Demand not working

Called Faults again. Having been told that they work 6 days a week yesterday, today I'm told that Level 2 work 5 days a week so actually my 4 working days are not over until tomorrow.
Fun 'n' Frolics... :-)
