Re: Ebuyer
Ebuyer p**s me off. They say "100+ in stock" and "usually ships same day", except it never does. Normally wait 3 days before even attempting to ship it. Then you have to wait another 3 days for the shipping.
I don't like to use them, but for some things (generic) are really cheap. 14m/45' cat6 ethernet cable for 2 quid? Not bad.
Annoys me that Dabs ships the same day, even within an hour sometimes. Their returns service is abysmal though

Re: Ebuyer
Thanks lads...
Ordered stuff 3 times from Ebuyer. Didn't have any problem the 1st 2 times.
The problem for me right now is, who's guilty!!
They all seem to have messed somehow! I want someone to atleast say fair enough, hands up, we r sorry we messed up. Thats the least of things realy. I understand that this is highly unlikely to happen, therefor i am going to argue for some sort of compensation.
I will be in contact with consumer direct. or anyone that i need to.
I realy didn't like to have to call ebuyer then city link>ebuyer>city link>ebuyer>citylink this morning! They were toying around with me.

Re: Ebuyer
Ebuyer, will nearly never ship items before the deliver before date. The usually ships same day really in fact means that if you do want next day, it can be sent for next day. Even if they do invoice it before, Citylink always push the boat out till the last day. Out of all my orders, I've only had one early one back in the day and the rest were all on time.

When i called City Link first time they said the people said i didn't live there no more!!! Where the hell could they have delivered it?? I mean, come on, if you r down a road, u can surely make the difference between for e.g no. 36 and no. 40 when the house numbers are clearly marked!
So y drop it at another house?? or could they have gone to some other street? My street can be easily located on any sat nav! Or maybe they are still using A-Z!!!

Re: Ebuyer
Got a call on my home phone this morning from city link. apparently they came round my house at 7.30 and someone answered, once again claiming i dnt live there!
What in the world is goin rong with them!
I assured the guy that i still live there and that i had instructed them to call me as soon as they are around the corner-which they did not do! He proceeds by confirming my address and said that somebody should be around again between 1-3pm!!!
---------- Post added at 09:11 ---------- Previous post was at 09:07 ----------
Now, one hour after, someone else from city link knocks at the door with a parcel!!!!
I asked him if he was the one trying to deliver this morning and he goes to me that it was another colleague who came at the SAME HOUSE! Am bemused...
He also said that the other driver should be coming again at the stated time.
He also maintained that somebody else answered the door and said i dnt live there!!!
Are they travelling to some parallel world or a parallel road??????

Re: Ebuyer
I just remembered another problem that we had with CityLink - I live at 5 ABC Avenue and they delivered our parcel to someone else's house at 5 ABC Road. Luckily the residents there were honest enough to phone us up so that we could go round and collect it.

I thought they might do something like that. But i checked streetmap and there's only one such road in London though there are others outside. I clearly said London and they have sent the parcel back to my local City Link office.
To be very honest, i have absolutely nt a single clue how they could mess that up, certainly not with the full add incl. post code. any missing info might have given them the benefit of doubt, bt not with what info they have!
Plain lack of professionalism.

Re: Ebuyer
Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse USB/PS/2 - Black 106194
I am writing regarding the above item which is missing from my order.
On the last delivery i received a box that only contained my keyboard only. This is besides the point that my order came well late of the stated delivery date.
I would like a refund of my delivery charges and of the missing mouse as i believe Ebuyer in conjunction with City Link have been lacking in professionalism in dealing with my order.
I should leave you to deal with any further issues. I have had reports of people waiting for weeks for an appropriate decision. Should this be the case with my enquiry, i will be forced to contact the appropriate authorites as i have spent enough time and money chasing the above item.
I hope to hear from you very soon.
Rergards,

I'd be saying a bit more than that if it was me!
I think you need to give them a bit more detail as to what happend with ****tyLink - even though it's beyond their control. You should also send a letter to SL as well...
I don't think you need the kisses at the end either!
---------- Post added at 11:43 ---------- Previous post was at 11:42 ----------
Edit - have you phoned the local trading standards and reported it?
Might be worth a call and to tell Ebuyer you have a case ref number from them - that might get things moving a bit quicker for you - good luck and keep as informed as to what happens!

Dear Sir/Madam,
Re: Microsoft Optical Wheel Mouse USB/PS/2 - Black 106194
I am writing regarding the above item which is missing from my order.
On the last delivery i received a box that only contained my keyboard. This is besides the point that my order came well late of the stated delivery date.
I was informed by City Link that upon delivery, they were informed that i do not live at the address anymore. They tried again and received the same response.
A customer advisor at Ebuyer assured me that my item would be delivered on Monday. Another said it should happen on Tuesday. Upon calling on Tuesday they told me that i should receive the item on Wednesday.
I finally received it on Thursday. Since Saturday is also a working day, City Link had four days to deliver the item.
I would like a refund of my delivery charges and of the missing mouse as i believe Ebuyer in conjunction with City Link have been lacking in professionalism in dealing with my order.
Combined errors by Ebuyer and City Link should in no way be borne by the customer.
I should leave you to deal with any further issues. I have had reports of people waiting for weeks for an appropriate decision. Should this be the case with my enquiry, i will be forced to contact the appropriate authorites as i have spent enough time and money chasing the above item.
I hope to hear from you very soon.
Rergards,
MY NAME
Ok, thats a revised letter, what do u think?
I will wait for a response from them before contacting the authorites. Should they seem reluctant or should they take more time than appropriate for an initial contact, i will contact Trading Standards.
