ok, im posting this in the hope people can test it on dialup for me, im doing some comparitive tests with friends i know im taunting with this program

so far, one person has said it speeds up some sites alot, but slows others, so try it and see...

every other program i have seen like this makes no difference, there is a physicical technological barrier that prevents a dial-up modem from going over 56k

This one is slightly different.

What you get for your money is a connection to one of their servers which compresses the data and sends it to you where your PC then decompresses it.

Guess it is as good as their compression algorythms and servers.

i dunno, i cant quite see that you can store the whole internet on one server even with compression

I personally would not buy it if i didnt have broadband

it uses uber compression algorithms, think of it like a proxy server but with the catch of actually compressing the data at there end and sending it to you in smaller packets.

so in theory it should work like sending zip files but as packets rather than as a file

*shrugs* dunno where morton is, must be up towards park gate? or further up.

Basically it should work, there offline compressor works alot better than winzip, so i guess there online should too.
