Increase your dialup speed...
ok, im posting this in the hope people can test it on dialup for me, im doing some comparitive tests with friends i know im taunting with this program :)
so far, one person has said it speeds up some sites alot, but slows others, so try it and see... http://www.miliki.net/dialup/Default.html |
every other program i have seen like this makes no difference, there is a physicical technological barrier that prevents a dial-up modem from going over 56k :D

This one is slightly different.
What you get for your money is a connection to one of their servers which compresses the data and sends it to you where your PC then decompresses it. Guess it is as good as their compression algorythms and servers. |

I personally would not buy it if i didnt have broadband ;) |
it uses uber compression algorithms, think of it like a proxy server but with the catch of actually compressing the data at there end and sending it to you in smaller packets.
so in theory it should work like sending zip files but as packets rather than as a file :) m4d, you in the port? |

No im in Moreton ;) |
*shrugs* dunno where morton is, must be up towards park gate? or further up.
Basically it should work, there offline compressor works alot better than winzip, so i guess there online should too. |
