Re: why can't i upgrade my BB speed online?

hi, i go to that link put in my postcode, click on upgrade to 600k then get this on the next page-
Moving to 600K
Each Broadband Internet package gives you an always on, high-speed connection to the world wide web, for a fixed fee each month.

Moving to 600K will allow you to make better use of streaming media sites such as mymovies.net and the BBCi Broadband Console.

It's also great if you use your Broadband Internet connection for work, and need to transfer large files.

A 600K connection is available for £24.99 a month.

To upgrade, call 0800 052 2000 now

why is this does anybody know? i live in stoke-on-trent if that helps, ex cable and wireless area(many years ago though)

No worries. Downgrades are not yet available online - you will need to ring Customer Services for that one. Remember there's a 30-day minimum period for package changes.

btw...that service won't work if you have bb from your set top box, only cable modems work.
