Ok little update.

Everyone i have spoken to that would be involved in something like this say they have not heard anything about a change. That does not mean its not happening it just means that no one has heard anything about it. It could be true or it could not be true. At the moment i am not worried as i feel that its not true.

Famous last words

Re: Ntl to reduce upload speed on 10mb

generally if most in NTL who should be aware of something like this changing, aren't aware then it means it's probably TRUE!!!

I have approached ntl for some official clarification. Expect the answer shortly.

Re: Ntl to reduce upload speed on 10mb

Anyone else thinking they may have done this "typo" to test the water of the reaction?

Re: Ntl to reduce upload speed on 10mb

It was indeed a typo - I have had it confirmed by ntl - They have now corrected the error @ http://home.ntl.com/websales/product.do?id=3264 .

The upload for 10Mb is still 512kbps.

To Felinix Devotion - As already mentioned - the ntl website has just recently been upgraded - so a mistake such as this can be easily made. No need to look too much into it.

They need to look at http://home.ntl.com/websales/product.do?id=3246 as well (First line in Features)

Yes finally got a answer myself. Seems it was indeed a Telewest speed that was incorrectly stated.
