Ntl to reduce upload speed on 10mb
I saw this on the other site, and if it is true and not just a typo, it seems pointless to continue paying £34.99 for the same upload as the 4mb tier :td:

Re: Ntl to reduce upload speed on 10mb
LOL Why do you think I downgraded from 10meg to 2meg - It certainly wasn't because I wanted to save pennies (I've been giving Telewest top tier money for over 5 years) : More like I didn't want to waste pennies ;)
They rang me up the other week and as asked if everything was ok with the downgrade and stuff : I gave them a good piece of my mind. |
Was talking about this today to an NTL employee... Apparently they are altering the speeds so 20mbit can have 512k up! And these are also the same upload speeds TW users have...i guess they want the same all across?
If it is true, you would imagine they would increase Telewest's upload, rather than decrease Ntl's  |

Ok if you want to take it as gospel fine. But i have heard nothing and i honestly think its a typo. Plus show me where NTL have said they are going to give customers 20 meg. NOTE i said NTL not the rumour maker on the street corner. NTL trailed 20 meg yes. But that does not mean they will release it. |
