I know-it was just the old ntl PR BS machine that made me laugh, the old "it's an intermittant problem" chestnut!

Not to mention the old classic "This has now been resolved" gem that popped up once a week every week at the end of another mail outage!

ntl really don't know the meaning of being honest to their customers do they?

Yes especialy on this site.

During our training period we had to spend the last week on the floor instead of in the training room because the training rooms were being fitted with the latest kit to increase training skills etc...
Thus we were never trained in many apps and didnt learn all features.

However all newbies ive floorwalked for seem to have a fine grasp of everything they use and in a couple of weeks time (after vigerous beatings) they shall be 100% confident in all they use on the DT.

In conclusion an insider would say 'yes far better'. However there is nothing worse than speaking to a noobie (unless its me)

I absolutely believe there was, yes.

I think it is disgusting that ntl should BS their way past that point by saying it is an 'intermittant problem'-what b0ll0x, it was a regular problem (not being able to get mail), & had been for several months prior to that, & continued to be for the rest of 2003 & into 2004.

What's up-don't you like me pointing out that are shown to be, shall we say 'bending the truth' (or bull$hitting the customer as I like to put it)?

ntl are full of BS-It is the most complained about thing on this board (& always has been)

Customers getting lied to/BS'd/promised call backs/getting batted round every dept on the phone.

ntl wouldn't know how to offer decent customer service if their lives depended on it.

Lies!! You just want to dance on ntl's grave. I saw you in the knife shop. Asking for a good 'ntl stabbing knife'. Those were your words.....

Edit : There was one hell of a Q also.

Re: Could this be NTLs problem?

I'm finished with ntl now, but I'm sticking around on this forum to educate people about the dangers of going anywhere near them.

So, personal vendettas must be good for something. If I ever persuade just one person to stay as far away from ntl as possible, I'll have done the world a good service. Which, incidentally, is the opposite of what they'll get if the don't listen.
