Server dropped your connection

Hi,

I had NTL installed last week (very impressed with the install, very quick), but
I'm unable to use my webspace.

When I try to connect in Terrapin I get the message "THE SERVER DROPPED YOUR CONNECTION". I can access my email so my username and password
seems to be ok.

Any ideas anyone?

Thanks

Pete

Re: Server dropped your connection

1. Try using the original password that NTL sent you, rather than any password you might have changed it to for your e-mail.

2. Set Terrapin into Passive mode.

Thanks for replying.

I've just tried both of the above, but it still doesn't work. I've tried a few
other FTP clients but it just does not let me connect.

Any chance of showing a transcript of the FTP command stream to see at what point it is going wrong?

Try just your username, not including the @ntlworld.com.
